Memorial Garden Shrine
These names are placed at our memorial garden shrine throughout
the year.
This remembrance garden was the inspiration of parishioners who wished
to have a dedicated place within the church to pray for their dead.
Seasonally the garden is decorated lovingly by parishioners. Each
November, a special service of remembrance takes place with an
opportunity to pray as a community for all our dead. The shrine is
obviously meeting a need as many visitors daily come to light a candle,
or just pause and take time to remember their loved ones. Join us
in reflection and view an image of the
Memorial Garden Shrine
- or take a moment yourself in prayer to remember someone close to
you who has died.
Pastoral Care/Bereavement Counselling
If you have
been bereaved and would like to talk to someone, please contact
the parish office and we can arrange a pastoral visit. If you
would like the parishioners at St. Peter's to pray for you or your loved
one, please
e-mail
us and we will
include your intention at our Mass of Remembrance.
We also offer a Bereavement Counselling Service at St. Peter's. To arrange an appointment, contact 8391766 Monday - Friday 9.15
am - 1.00 pm.
