Restoration work on the South Transcept of the Church is now complete. This scheme of work involved the removal of all the cresting along the entire length of the apex of the roof as well as the aprons which hold the cresting in place. Much of the ironwork in both cresting and aprons had rusted and could become hazardous.

The Parish of St Peter’s Phibsborough is currently recruiting a part-time Sacristan.
Role: to provide a high level of support to the parish priest and parish team in the running of the Church at weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and on Monday evenings.
Main duties
Preparing the Altar and Sanctuary for Mass and other liturgical services e.g. Baptisms, Funerals, Weddings, and assisting where necessary. Opening and closing the Church at agreed times and general security awareness. Lent begins today (Wednesday, 17th February). Mass on Ash Wednesday will be live-streamed at 10.30am.
