Every year Trócaire asks for your help during Lent to fund lifesaving programmes around the world. This year, of course, it was not possible to return Trócaire boxes through schools or parishes in the usual way. This is the worst possible timing coming just as the world’s poorest people need us most. Therefore, Trócaire are appealing to you to return your Lenten donation. Simply count or estimate what is in your box and donate in the following ways:

Please leave your requests in the comment section by 5pm and a candle will be lit to accompany your prayer. A general request is best as this is not a private forum.
A private description of your petition, if preferred, can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. again by 5 pm to be included in tonight’s prayers.

We’re delighted to let you know that a virtual pilgrimage to Knock will now take place this Sunday 26th April.
The programme is as follows:
A Virtual Pilgrimage to Knock with the Archdiocese of Dublin – Programme Sunday April 26th
3.00pm: Pilgrimage mass celebrated by the Rector of Knock Shrine, Father Richard Gibbons
4.00pm: Virtual visit to the Apparition Chapel
4.15pm: Opportunity to place a petition, light a candle or have a mass said online.
