The death has occured of Hugh McMahon CM, Raheny, Dublin / Belfast, Antrim

Fr Hugh McMahon CM (St Paul’s Raheny, Dublin and late of Belfast) April 26th, 2019 after many years of service in both Ireland and Britain; brother of Edmund and the late Brian, Henry and Moya. Deeply regretted by the wider McMahon Family, the Community in St Paul’s, his Vincentian Confreres and many friends.

Reposing at St Paul’s from 3.00pm on Tuesday afternoon prior to removal to The Sacred Heart Residence Chapel, Sybil Hill Road, arriving Tuesday evening at 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 9.30am prior to removal to St Patrick’s Church, Donegall Street, Belfast, arriving for 2.00pm Mass on Wednesday afternoon with burial at Milltown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bernadette Connaughton, Glasnevin, Dublin / Artane, Dublin

Connaughton, Bernadette 24th April 2019, (Glasnevin, Dublin and formerly of Artane, Dublin) (member of Comhaltas, Clontarf) passed away suddenly in her 38th year at home. Beloved daughter of Marie and the late Pat; she will be very sadly missed by her mother, sisters Anna and Jackie, brothers Paul and Michael, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Vicki, brother-in-law Rob, six nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Sunday between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Removal on Monday morning (29th April) to St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough arriving for 10.30am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Desmond Munroe, Shandon Drive, Phibsborough, Dublin

Munroe, 8th April 2019, Desmond, late of Shandon Drive, Phibsborough. Beloved husband of Kathleen, very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons Niall, Des and Paul, brother Liam, sister Marie, his niece Carole, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 88 A Cabra Road on Wednesday from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday in St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough at 10.30am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to the Mater Foundation. The death has occurred of Philomena (Phyllis) Cosgrove (née Joyce), Glasnevin, Dublin / Marino, Dublin

Cosgrove (née Joyce), Philomena (Phyllis) (late of David Road, Glasnevin and formerly of Shelmartin Avenue, Marino) – April 6th, 2019, peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff of St Gabriel’s Nursing Home, Edenmore. Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Jean, Phil, Ann, Michael and Vincent, and cherished sister of Joseph and the late Gerard, Freddie, Olive and Betty. Very sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Tuesday (April 9th) from 3.00pm. Removal to St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough on Wednesday (April 10th) arriving at 10.20am for 10.30am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Cyril (Sid) Kavanagh, Phibsborough, Dublin

Kavanagh (Phibsborough and formerly of C.I.E Heuston Station), 29th March 2019, peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, after a long illness, Cyril (Sid), loving son of the late Thomas and the late Elizabeth and beloved brother of Marie. He will be sadly missed by Marie and his many friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, Faussagh Avenue, on Monday afternoon between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough, to arrive for 10.30am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patricia Garland (née Reilly), Curraghbreedin, Crosserlough, Cavan / Phibsborough, Dublin

Patricia Garland (née Reilly), Rathdown Road, Phibsborough, Dublin and late of Curraghbreedin, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan, 28th March, following a short illness, surrounded by her family and friends.

Sadly missed by her husband Phil, her loving daughter Orna, brother Michael Anthony, sisters Geraldine and Mary, brothers-in-law Charlie and Sean, sister-in-law Nancy, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her home in Phibsborough today, Friday, with removal on Saturday morning to St Peter’s Church, Phibsborough, to arrive for 10.30am Requiem Mass. Removal afterwards to St Mary’s Church, Crosserlough, to arrive for funeral prayers at 2.30pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
