We welcome into the Catholic Church babies Andreeas Vlad Cioaca, Michael John Scarfato, Iseult Áine Quinn, Patryk Colm Szmelter, Janna Marcella Faye Bilag and Zara Rose Kelly who were baptised here in St Peter’s in May. We wish them every blessing as they take their fist steps as new members of our Christian family.
Please remember in your prayers the boys and girls from St Peter’s National School who make their First Holy Communion here in St Peter’s this Sunday, 7th May at 11.30am Mass. Thank you to their teachers for all their hard work in preparing the children for this special day. Ambo Lazarist Deaf School (ALDS) Fundraising Events Paddy’s Day Plunge at the 40 Foot, Dublin (Vincentian Lay Missionaries)
For the warm blooded among us. This is our 4th annual Plunge. Looking forward to snapping some more photos of tortured faces! But remember the smiles we captured on the faces of the kids in Ambo proves that ‘Your pain is their gain!’ Please take the Plunge! Contact us at: ambodeaf@vlm.ie.
Next week work on the restoration of our shrines will commence. In order to facilitate this, there will be no Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, 21 to Friday, 24 February.
