Shrine Restoration

Next week work on the restoration of our shrines will commence. In order to facilitate this, there will be no Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, 21 to Friday, 24 February. The church will close after the 10.30am Mass on these days. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and we thank you for your support.

The children from St Peter’s National School due to make their First Holy Communion this coming year will attend a special Mass at 11.30am this Sunday 19th February.  We extend a warm welcome to all and encourage active participation within the preparation programme. New Superior General

We have the joy of announcing that, on Tuesday, 5 July 2016, during our XLII General Assembly at DePaul University in Chicago, USA, Rev. Fr Tomaž Mavrič CM, Vice-Visitor of Cyril and Methodius based in Kiev, was elected Superior General of the Vincentian Community (Congregation of the Mission) and the Company of the Daughters of Charity. Please pray for him and for all of us who are inspired to live the Gospel following the example of St Vincent de Paul.
